Hood River Sand & Gravel has concrete batch plants in Hood River and in Cascade Locks in Oregon and in Dallesport, North Bonneville, and Goldendale in Washington. The company also has three Con-E-Co high volume portable concrete batch plants which have been placed at various sites from Montana to Tacoma.
The region boasts some of the most admired vistas in the country, securing the unique Federal designation (and protection) as a National Scenic Area in 1984. Hood River Sand is a proud partner and works closely with regulatory agencies to maintain the pristine nature of this special region, having developed the expertise and capacity to develop the remote areas surrounding the Gorge while minimizing impact.
The region features rain forests, semi-arid deserts, mountains, and rivers. Being able to address the various weather and topographical constraints each of these environments brings can create real challenges. Hood River Sand’s experience comes through with timely delivery of aggregate and concrete to projects in even the most difficult environments.
